Free short stories on YouTube!

Hey there!

If the groundhog saw his shadow, I wasn’t paying attention. Instead, I’ve been nose deep in writing. The Detective Cosmo Pritchard Mysteries has two NEW short stories, and they’re both up on my YouTube channel (@instoriedworlds), which are FREE for reading/listening. This is all in my free time, and they’re put up literally right after I finish them without oversight. I like to keep posting/publishing because people need escapism, right? This is my way of giving back. And so far, people are loving them. Check them out! The Last Telegram and Murder at Whispering Pines have been a joy to write. Also, I’ve gotten the edited copy back of Murderous Echoes (the second in The Skylar Night Mysteries), and I aim to publish that in March… Maybe, March 4th… So, if you liked the first one, Ominous Visions, Grave Decisions, then get ready. It’ll be on most major platforms. (Book cover is currently under construction, but I’ll upload it to my newsletter first.)

By the way, if you have a preferred platform, let me know. Many have expressed interest in Libby app, Overdrive app, etc… I’m listening… just tell me. 😉

Oh, and I’ve updated/re-edited The Guardians, which is the second book in The Protectorate series, which has had great reviews. So, check that out too along with the first one. They are great books, and I’m feverishly working on the third in all my spare time. Oh, and if you’re on Booksprout, then I’ll have them up there for reviewing shortly. Did I mention that Booksprout is free and gets you free books? No? Well… now I have.

Onto the next topic…

Genre Update

So, I’ve been dabbling in the supernatural/paranormal, and I’ve decided…. *cracking knuckles*… it’s time to take a dive… a dive into scifi.

I can imagine some boos and maybe other stuff I won’t repeat, but I’ve got the itch to write dystopian and time travel, and you know what? I’m doing it. But don’t worry, I’ll will continue my murder mystery series. All of them! It’s what I love about writing… we can change course over and over again, and still bring good books to the table.

So, if you’re into time travel detectives… Yep! It’s a time travel detective! I don’t want to give too much away, but I’m giddy over it and have already outlined five books so far. FIVE! Be on the lookout for that.

As for dystopian… it’s already halfway done. At least the first in the series is halfway finished. My editor says I’m off to a good start, and that’s got me working overtime to finish it.

Which brings me to my next topic…

2025 Goals

I don’t make New Year’s resolutions anymore, but I do have business goals. One of them is to publish six books this year, and if I’m lucky… more. I’ve already gotten two short stories up on YouTube, and YES, they count. However, I’ve already got one book publishing in March, another set for April, and hopefully, yet another for June. That’s a pretty good start!

This is, of course, where YOU come in.
