Romance Guilt
Okay, now I’m talking about the guilt/shame that goes with liking the romance genre. Why is it that we put such shame on this? Reading is reading, and if you love romance, I’m with you! There’s more to discuss on this matter, and who knows, maybe I’ll make a video specifically on this topic if you’d like. Let me know if that’s something you’d enjoy watching. But I’m fed up with all this guilt and shame around this genre. We all need a little love in our lives, and romance is the perfect way of doing that. Plus, it’s reading, and I’m all for reading.
The Places We Leave Behind
Update! I’m further into the story, and I’m really loving it. No pun intended. Honestly.
I’ve written a total of 11,383 words as of this writing, and it’s flowing. It’s great to melt into the Oregonian coast life, and the lives of these characters who are so flawed and beautiful all at the same time. Anyway, it’s well on its way, and I hope to devote more time each day on it. There’s so much to do with a small business, and I find that my time is often pulled in other managerial directions, but I plan on setting aside more time each day to write.
